A JUMPING COMMODE in veneered wood of different species, opening with two drawers on two slightly curved rows at the front, the sides very slightly curved, and resting on two curved front legs finished with pastilles. Decorated with a large central oval medallion featuring a hexagon. Handles in burr veneered reserves.
The sides are decorated with veneered medallions.
Rounded front jambs decorated with cartouches. Varnished bronze pull handles and lock escutcheons.
Hache fils à Grenoble label on the top drawer.
Attributed to Jean-François Hache (1730 - 1796), Transition period.
Grey marble top with white veins.
