ROYAL ORDER OF SPAIN
INSTITUTED IN 1808
Gold knight's star. Five red enameled points, center with lion and tower. Mottoes "Jos.Nap.Hisp" and "Ind.
Rex Ins".
Height without ring: 1 cm
A ribbon is attached. Order created by Joseph
Bonaparte in 1808, with only 1787 knights. The majority of these insignia, awarded to Spaniards, were already extremely rare and disappeared after the departure of the French, for obvious reasons.
