POUDRES AND SALPÊTRES SECOND-EMPIRE OFFICER'S SPEARER Gilt brass mounting. Pommel decorated with a bee, joint arc decorated with a frieze of pearls with straight quillon in the extension. Imperial eagle and lightning bolt keyboard. Mother-of-pearl plates. Straight blade with triangular cross-section.
Leather scabbard with two brass fittings (missing bolt).
