Brass mounting. Lion-head pommel in the form of a crook.
Star-shaped guard with two straight quillons, in the center the arms of France (crossed out). Wooden buttstock covered with copper watermarked leather. Curved blade with hollow sides and gutter from the Royal Manufactory of Klingenthal, dated 1823.
Chased brass scabbard with two hooks, three bracelets and four cartouches, one with a trophy around the drum function, three with plant decoration and one with a lion's head.
Wooden splints present.
One hook missing.
