LIGHT CAVALRY OFFICER'S SABRE Chased brass mounting. Eagle-head pommel. Flat joint bow with stylized vegetal decoration, oreillon cruiser crossed by the body knot with staff attributes. Leather-covered wooden forend with alternating double copper filigree.
Strongly curved blade with hollow sides and carp tongue. The blade is engraved in thirds and leftover blue. Brass scabbard with two bracelets and suspension rings. The scabbard is engraved with a geometric design of palm leaves and stylized acanthus. Pommel attached.
