ARTILLERY OFFICER'S SABRE À LA CHASSEUR Gilt brass mounting, fully chased with leaf and scale motifs. Long-tailed cap decorated with acanthus leaves, joint arc with two secondary branches, almond-shaped cruze and curved quillon decorated with cloverleaf.
Wooden spindle covered with filigree leather. Solingen blade with hollow sides, tongue and countersink.
It is blued, engraved and one-third gilded. Iron scabbard with two brass bracelets featuring two interlocking barrels under a crown and oak leaf and laurel wreath background.
Two suspension rings.
