SABRE D'OFFICIER SUPÉRIEUR DE CAVALERIE LÉGÈRE Dit modèle à cote de melon. Chased brass, gilt and ebony mount. Melon-cut cap, then panelled. Flat chased joint arch decorated with stylized acanthus leaves, then bitterness, ellipse-shaped cruise and button quillon. Squared ebony spindle. Curved Solingen blade with hollow sides and counter-edge. One-third engraved, gilded and blued. Blackened steel turret with three cut, gilded and chased brass fittings. Two bracelets and suspension rings. Wooden splints present.
