LUXURIOUS LIGHT CAVALRY OFFICER'S SABRE Hunter-style model. Fully chased gilt brass frame with laurel leaf motifs. Long-tailed lion's head cap, jointed arch with two secondary branches, almond-shaped cruze and curved quillon decorated with cloverleaf. Wooden spindle covered with filigree leather. Luxurious damascus blade with hollow sides, carp tongue and counter-edge.
The blade is blued on an amatized background with engraved dots and one-third gilded. On the rest of the blade, semi stars and vegetal interlacing. Brass scabbard with two brass bracelets and suspension rings, sting with two roquillards. Entirely chased with floral motifs and acanthus leaves.
