Line Vautrin
Nicknamed the poet of metal for her humorous rebus creations, Line Vautrin learned chasing from her father, an art bronzier, before inventing what would become her true material of choice. Patented in the 1950s, Talosel enabled the artist to give her creations the appearance of aged metal on plastic objects. From then on, she applied this process to her decorative objects, notably her renowned witch mirrors, but also to her jewelry creations. These creations were subsequently the subject of an exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 1999: "Secret de bijoux" Line Vautrin et onze créateurs d'aujourd'hui.
