A platinum manual winding lady's wristwatch with integrated diamond bracelet, caliber 101/1 movement signed and numbered Notes: Launched in 1925, the Duoplan movement was the solution to the challenge of creating compact yet precise wristwatches. Its name, meaning "two planes", reflects its unique architecture: the components were arranged on two levels, enabling a compact design without compromising precision. Building on the success of the Duoplan, Jaeger Le-Coultre unveiled the Calibre 101 in 1929. At just 14 mm long, 4.8 mm wide and 3.4 mm high, and weighing around 1 gram, it remains the smallest mechanical movement ever created. Originally composed of 74 components, modern versions have up to 98, all meticulously assembled by hand. Our rare example under the "Feuille 101" model bears witness to the watchmaker's historic expertise.
