Kalachakra ritual mask known as "Zangs-Bag" in gilded repoussé copper alloy. The forehead, moustache and all facial edges are finely decorated with spiral flames, while the cheeks, eyes and mouth are largely uncovered. In the center of the forehead, a third eye is open.

NOTE Masks of this type were worn by Gelugpa lamas, attached to their headdresses, during ritual offering dances during Kalachakra initiations.
