This work, modelled on Jac Martin-Ferrières, is a study for one of the canvases used to decorate the Salle des Délibérations at the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie in Béziers, commissioned from Henri Martin in 1932. The set was dismantled and sold at auction in London in 2008.
