*Citroën Dyane 6 – 1980

Swiss registration title, in temporary
importation

Introduced in 1967, the Dyane stood out from the 2 CV with its lights integrated into the wings and its hatchback. When it came out, it was fitted with the 2 CV’s 425 cc twin-cylinder engine. In 1968, the Dyane 6 was offered with a new 602 cc engine. More than 1.4 million were built, but production ended in 1983.
The car we are presenting here is a Dyane 6 launched on 31 May 1980, and features chrome bumpers, twin carburettors, front disc brakes and a button-opening rear hatch, all exclusive to this 3rd and final generation.
This is an Export version sold new in Switzerland, and acquired by Mr D. as a second-hand vehicle. It also features a rare and highly sought-after Tangerine Orange colour.
The car, which has just under 70,000 km on the odometer, has been intelligently restored, with a new chassis and new paintwork, a completely overhauled powertrain and as many original features as possible, including the upholstery.
