* Citroën 2 CV AZ PO – 1958
Swiss registration title, in temporary importation
This model marked the first real evolution of the 2 CV: in 1954, the 375 cc engine was upgraded to 425 cc, increasing the power of the twin-cylinder engine to 12 hp!
One of the most legendary models of the entire production run, with its 23-spline “corrugated iron” bonnet, the famous Medium Grey AC 132 paintwork and “suicide” doors.
A very rare PO (Pays d’Outre-Mer) model with special equipment: oil-bath air filter, axle protectors and characteristic bumpers The original paintwork has faded, revealing an elegant layer of surface corrosion, and the interior is also in relatively good condition, despite a few missing parts!
As he says himself, its owner acquired it involuntarily because he fell in love with it when he saw it!
The engine was stopped many years ago and needs to be restarted.
A great project to get this car back on the road, preserving as much of its cosmetics as possible!
