*Citroën XM V6 24 V Exclusive – 1996

Swiss registration title, in temporary importation

Introduced in 1989, the Citroën XM is a top-of-the-range saloon with a highly avant-garde design by Italian stylist Bertone.
Featuring a remarkable array of technical refinements, the French saloon appears to be the worthy heir to the DS and CX.
Available with a choice of petrol or diesel engines, the flagship of the marque with the chevrons will be equipped in its most luxurious version with a V6 24-valves engine of PRV origin culminating in 3.0 litres of displacement, to develop 200 hp enabling the large saloon to reach a top speed of 235 km/h. With its high level of performance and luxurious but never flashy equipment, the XM had clearly chosen its rivals...
Sold in Zurich on 14 November 1996, our Phase 2 model had only one owner until the late 1990s, when it entered the collection.
Its graphite-grey bodywork is in beautifully preserved condition.
The interior features well-preserved beige leather upholstery, elegant wood trim and beige carpets.
With 273,000 km on the clock, the car comes with a service booklet attesting to its regular and rigorous maintenance. Under the bonnet, the 24-valve V6 is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and features the Diravi system. Only 395 examples were produced in phase 2 in this configuration.
