*Citroën Xantia Activa Turbo CT – 1995

Swiss registration title, in temporary
importation

The Activa system first appeared on the Xantia in 1994, and enables the car to maintain a constant ride height. As a result, the car turns flat in bends and remains comfortable and supple in a straight line.
Despite its 1,450 kg weight and high centre of gravity, the V6 Activa still holds the speed record in the elan test, ahead of the Audi R8 V10 and the Mclaren 675 LT.
In terms of looks, the Activa phase 1 can be identified by its monogram on the side mouldings, an exclusive boot spoiler
and 15-inch 5-spoke Venice alloy wheels. Only 18,242 Xantia Activa were produced between 1994 and 2000, a tiny fraction of the total production figure of over 1.5 million.
Sold new in Geneva on 24 July 1995, our car had 2 owners before joining the collection in 2011. With 210,000 km on the odometer, this car is in satisfactory condition. It is accompanied by its owner’s manual and maintenance booklet, attesting to regular servicing.
Its cherry-red bodywork bears some of the scars of its use. Inside, the black leather upholstery and grey carpets are fairly well preserved. Under the bonnet is a robust 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 150 hp, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. This is the engine most commonly found in Xantia Activa models.
