Inspired by the styling of the Lignage concept presented in 1999, the Citroën C6 did not appear in the catalogue until 2005. It has a long front overhang, a short rear overhang, smooth sides and a concave rear window reminiscent of the CX.
The interior is luxurious and comfortable, with a number of innovative features, a top-level Hydractive suspension system and high-performance 4 and 6-cylinder engines. The official car of the French government and of Presidents Jacques Chirac, Nicolas Sarkozy and François Hollande, the C6 will bow out in 2012 after 7 years of production and 23,384 examples built.
The model we are presenting is a C6 equipped with a 240 hp 3.0 litre HDi V6. Sold new in the canton of Neuchâtel, it had two owners before joining the collection in 2021. It is accompanied by its delivery note, user manuals and service booklet attesting to regular maintenance.
Since then, it has undergone major work costing more than €10,000. The running gear, suspension and brakes have all been overhauled, and the timing belt replaced. With 257,000 km on the odometer, it’s in excellent working order.
Equipped with the top-of-the-range Exclusive trim level, our C6 features Fulminator grey bodywork, a tan leather interior, a 6-speed automatic gearbox, an electric sunroof and 18-inch alloy wheels.
