Porsche 964 30 Jahre Jubilé – 1993
French registration title
Over seven decades, and through each generation, the Porsche 911 has become a legend that cannot be ignored. The 964,
the third generation of the myth, saw the 911’s status evolve even further, notably by inaugurating a 4-wheel drive version. It is precisely this 4x4 version that Porsche will use to create its 30th anniversary model. A limited edition of 911 units worldwide.
The concept is more than just a number: the Jubilee combines the bodywork of the Turbo, with a naturally-aspirated 3.6-litre engine developing 250 hp, all-wheel drive and a manual gearbox. This 964 is one of the rarest and fewest produced by the Stuttgartbased marque since the arrival of the 911 in 1963.
Our example was delivered new in Germany, before arriving in France in 1998. It has changed hands 3 times since then, all
in France, and is in possession of its stamped original owner’s book, its logbooks, the duplicate keys and numerous invoices,
including one for a major engine overhaul.
This rare 911 Viola Metallic has recently benefited from a full repaint, after having received a partial haze following a minor
fender-bender in 2010 (appraisal report attached and available on request). Its Rubicon violet leather interior is in fabulous
condition, even though our example, number 713/911, has now clocked up around 206,000 km.
Our test drive of this exceptional 964 revealed excellent mechanical health, sound running gear and a smooth, fluid transmission.
This Porsche is a road car and a sports car which, thanks to its design and rigorous maintenance, takes us back to the great
Porsche era... Perhaps the best of the German manufacturer?
