Porsche Boxster 2.7 – 2004

French registration title

At one time, Porsche was experiencing some financial difficulties, so the range had to be extended beyond the immortal 911. This was to be done with an interesting roadster with a boxer engine, to be called the Boxster.
The project was launched by Stuttgart in the spring of 1992, and was completed three and a half years later, with the very first model leaving the factory in 1996. With its 911 (996) front end, it quickly became a success and offered the German marque a less obscure future. It is one of those life-saving models that make legends of themselves. Its ease of handling and efficiency, thanks to a mid-mounted engine, meant that it would be available in many versions across several generations.
Our example, delivered new to Germany in March 2004, is the restyled version, known as Phase 2, equipped with the 228 hp
2.7-litre flat-6 engine. The car’s appeal lies in its low mileage, having covered just 54,900 km in just over 20 years.
Having arrived in France in 2007, this Porsche has benefited from rigorous maintenance and attention from its 3 French owners.
Our test drive confirms that the car is sound, both in terms of its engine and running gear. Its attractive colour scheme, blue
paint with grey interior and soft top, and its low mileage make it one of the most beautiful Boxsters we have presented for sale.
