Whilst Claude Lalanne sculpts, Jacqueline Dürrbach weaves. Created by the former and from the personal collection of the latter, this flower brooch stands as a symbol of the friendship that binds them. Both artists, Claude Lalanne gained renown for her surrealist-inspired sculptures, whilst Jacqueline Dürrbach achieved fame through her tapestries created in collaboration with some of the greatest artists of her time: Gleizes, Léger and Picasso.
