Eugène Fontenay
While the Campana collection was being exhibited at the Louvre, Eugène Fontenay (1824-1887), author, designer and jeweler, was, like the general public, increasingly interested in Etruscan culture. He transposed this interest into his creations, producing gold jewelry in the Etruscan style, using the granulated and filigree techniques for which he became renowned. Today, his creations are part of the collections of the Musée d'Orsay and the Arts Décoratifs.
