Private collection, France.
This detail was inspired by a larger composition by Raphael (1483-1520) for the cartoons of a cycle of ten tapestries for the Sistine Chapel. Produced between 1515 and 1516, the cartoon depicting Saint Peter and Saint John healing the lame man at the Temple Gate is now conserved in London at the Victoria &| Albert Museum (inv. ROYAL LOANS.4).
