Violet-wood veneer inlay cabinet
veneer. It opens with three doors,
including two side panels with glass backs,
framing the central panel leaf
decorated with a palace scene with figures
with figures in the style of Far Eastern
Far East lacquer. Central panel
topped by a drawer. Rich ornamentation
chased and gilded bronzes decorated
with rows of pearls and crisp leaves
and mantling.
Resting on cambered front legs
and terminating in lions' paws. Beige
Breche beige marble top.
Stamped "Sormani Paris" and signed
on the lock plate: "Sormani
134 Bd Hausmann Paris".
