Louis XIV style wall-mounted cartel
in ebony and brass inlays,
rich ornamentation of chased and gilded
ornamentation, displaying both clock
barometer and thermometer. The upper part
decorated with a gilded bronze figure of Chronos
in gilded bronze among clouds, below which is
the dial with white enamel cartouche,
chased center, hours in Roman numerals
in Roman numerals, double opening for
for the square winding mechanism
mechanism. The central part with
hand for the barometer, which can be set
on three different positions: "rainy", "changeable" and
"changeable" and "fine weather", with rich
rich decoration in the upper part
the upper part with a gilded bronze mascaron
bronze mascaron, while the sides are decorated
acanthus leaf motifs. The lower part
decorated with a graduated thermometer in Arabic
with a scale up to 45 degrees
Celsius.
