Statue in gilded copper alloy and hardstone inlay featuring Shyama Tara, seated in lalitasana, left leg extended, left hand in varada mudra and right hand in refuge mudra.
She is dressed in a fine dhoti, with a scarf across her chest, her hair tied in a high bun and her head crowned with an imposing crown of flowers. With black resin base.

NOTE
During the 18th and 19th centuries, Dolonnor was an important center for the production of Buddhist sculptures, in particular to supply the new Buddhist shrines appearing on the bangs of the Qing empire in Central Asia.
Asia. Stylistically, these sculptures are characterized by their large dimensions, imposing jewels and crowns adorned with hard stones, and a high bun topped with a jewel.
