To his nephew Edward BERNAYS (1891-1995), the son of his sister
Anna, who had moved to America with her family. Edward helped his uncle with the translation and publication of his Works in the USA| he was a pioneer of "public relations" in America.
Freud thanks Edward for an unexpected consignment of money and for his kind availability. He is in fact the only relative he has heard from in all these years. When his young wife arrives in Vienna, the Freuds will try to be as kind as possible to her. Cousin Olivier is getting married in Berlin on the 10th. Mama and Martin left yesterday to represent the family. He adds that he has ordered a case of Washington Coffee.
Coffee, the price of which Edward will deduct from the next royalties.
Psycho-Analyt. Press has separated from the publisher and gone independent, moving to London. Freud could not impose a business relationship with Edward there, as he had thought...
