In-fol. bound in fawn morocco, smooth spine, large polychrome mosaic decoration with wavy gilded fillets on covers and spine, brown suede lining and endpapers, interior framing of mosaic motifs and wavy gilded fillets, gilded edges, covers and spine, lined folder with fawn morocco spine and covers (spine as ornate as covers), damaged case (Mad. Gras).
Edition of 68 copies, with color decomposition of one plate, copy no. 8| justified by the author and the artist.
It was printed by Jean-Gabriel Dara gnès, with colored woodcuts engraved by Daragnès after pastels by Anna de
Noailles.
Frontispiece and 28 vignettes in the text. Numerous miniature plates.
