DALI. FREUD (Sigmund) Moses and Monotheism.
Translated from the German by Anne Berman| [preface and illustrations by Salvador Dali]. Paris and Nice, Art &| Valeur, 1974.
Large in-folio (65 x 50 cm), in leaves with illustrated cover, and including a frontispiece, title and woodcut figures in the text, all after Dali (yellowed margin ends)| in a full red leather, book-shaped slipcase (70 x 58 x 10 cm.), 5-ribbed spine with silvered title and artist's name (skin partly sunned), top cover adorned with a large relief figure of Moses by Dali after Michelangelo, silvered (minor traces of oxidation).
The main illustration consists of 10 original color prints by Salvador Dali, printed on lambskin. Each, measuring 64.5 x 50 cm, is signed by the painter.
The plates and text are presented in two half-skin folders with Plexiglas covers (some plates a little rubbed at the corners and partly detached from their paper backing).
Limited edition of 300 copies: one of 230 on Rives vellum, this one no. 108 signed by the painter at the justification.
