In-4, fawn calf, smooth spine, gilt names and title, boards decorated with a geometric composition of black dotted lines and gilt fillets, the latter extended on the spine, calf-edged spine flaps decorated with black corner dotted lines and a gilt fillet, patterned havana and printed velvet paper double endpapers, a print of a plate on gilt satin inserted on the upper spine flap, embossed cover and spine, gilt edges on witnesses, matching lined folder and slipcase [G. Cretté].
Edition illustrated with 49 colored woodcuts after compositions by the painter Jules Chadel (1870-1941), engraved by himself and with the assistance of Germaine de Coster and Savinienne Tourrette, and hand-pulled by Yoshijito Urushibara.

Limited edition of 121 copies on japon paper, this one n°93 nominative for Jacques André.
