In-4, navy blue morocco, spine with 5 raised bands, author, title and date in gilt, boxes decorated with mosaic and cold-stamped fleurons and edged with gilt filets, decoration of the boards formed by several frames of gilt and cold-stamped filets with mosaic fleurons, double gilded fillet on the edges and headpieces, morocco spine flaps decorated with a floral roulette framed by 2 fillets, all gilded, double blue moiré satin and marbled paper endpapers, gilt head, untrimmed, case [Rainsford] (qq. small rubs and beginning of crack to slipcase).
New edition illustrated with 82 color compositions by Pierre Vidal.
Limited edition of 375 copies: one of 50 on japon (n°8), second paper after a single copy on velin, including a suite in black on Chine of all the lithographs.
