In-folio, 125 p., plates, figs, dark green morocco, 4-nerved spine, mosaic title, compartments and boards richly decorated with mosaic decoration in the oriental style, cream morocco doubled covers decorated with a wide mosaic border enriched with gilded fleurons, double endpaper of embroidered cloth and marbled paper, gilded edges, folder and slipcase [Cuzin] (spine of folder faded, rubbing to edges of slipcase).
Splendid edition illustrated by the painter Etienne Dinet. It contains 132 color compositions, including 5 full-page, 114 in the text, 11 chapter-head frames and 2 culs-de-lampe.
Limited edition of 300 numbered copies: one of the top 10 copies (no. 6) on japon, with an original signed watercolor bound at the head of the volume, a color suite on japon, a black suite on Chine and a suite of striped plates on Chine.
Admirable binding in mosaic morocco and lined by Cuzin.
