An exceptional copy, bound with its large witnesses, bringing its dimensions, including the binding, to 19 x 15 cm. It features 50 original drawings by French painter Emile Delphes Chabod (1845-1910). Done in watercolor, the two main compositions cover the false title and the margins of the first page of the text| the others, almost all in watercolor, a few in ink wash, are distributed in the margins and around the typographical composition.
