Small in-4, half bronze-green contemporary basane, smooth spine decorated with ship in repeated fleuron, author, title and tomaison gilt, gilt roulette bordering the boards, untrimmed (2 corners dulled, spine faded and a little rubbed, traces of paper stuck to the boards| soiling in the margin of the front, 1 plate torn without missing, a few sporadic stains including one at the edge of the world map).
This volume contains a frontispiece and 79 engraved and colored costume plates, and 2 folding maps (world map and Europe).
