Large in-4 (34 x 24 cm.), 163 p., contemporary granite calf, smooth spine, gilt fleurons, 3 green morocco title-pieces, gilt roulette around the edges, corners and tail-cap repaired (2 corners dulled, occasional russeting, some text ff. a little browned, one serpente mq.).
Edition with 4 engraved plates printed in color after compositions by Jean Frédéric Schall. The plates are printed on heavy wove paper, the text on laid paper.
