In-folio, contemporary brown calf, 6-ribbed spine, red morocco title-piece, ornate caissons, gilt edges, gilt arms on boards (flaws including worn corners, one cap shaved, jaws partly split| marginal russeting and browning).
1 unsigned plan published by Demortain. - 12 plates drawn and engraved by Israël Silvestre (plans, perspectives and views of gardens and buildings), dated between 1664 and 1684. - 3 plates engraved by Lepautre. - 9 plates published by Le Blond concerning the orangery and stables, including a garden plan of the orangery with movable rooms. - 1 small view of the large stable published by Langlois, mounted. - 21 plates of sculptures, engraved by Audran or Edelinck, dated between 1679 and 1681. - 18 plates of fountains, engraved by Lepautre, dated between 1673 and 1679. - 2 double plates of fountains, one by Simonneau after Cotelle, 1689, the other drawn and engraved by L. de Chastillon, 1683. - 9 plates of busts on columns, by Lepautre, 1674. - 6 plates of flowerpots and 2 of sphinxes, by Lepautre, 1672-1673.
