VERY FINE SILK GHUM
Silk velvet on silk foundation (warp, weft and fringe). Gilded beige field decorated with fine twisted branches adorned with finely drawn flowering palmettes framing a central old-gold floral rosette. Four spandrels echo the central medallion. Triple border, the main one in old gold, with interlacing serrated foliage and floral bulbs. Remarkable finesse.
