Princess Hélène d'Orléans (1814 - 1858), née von Mecklenburg-Schwerin, was the wife of Ferdinand-Philippe d'Orléans and the daughter-in-law of the French king Louis-Philippe I. She gave this precious bottle in the form of a gift. In May 1840, she presented this precious bottle to Madame Achille Devéria, née Céleste Motte (1812-1879), wife of the well-known painter.
