Expecting only the best, Mr. Alain C. bought cars of great distinction, preferring the beauty of their elegant, discreet lines to the flashy virtues of sculptural Italians. He did, of course, indulge in a few whimsical American cars, but always made sure that avant-gardism in all its forms was a priority. With no cost limits and a sure taste, he has assembled a collection that leaves no place for ambiguity. In his Sologne estate, the office is an extension housing trophies, vintage cars, one-off models made to order, bronzes and reference books.
A personal universe where everything comes together, everything is magnified.
Like a stranger invited to discover the premises, I was taken aback by the atmosphere that emanated, a mixture of opulence and refinement, rubbing shoulders with the too much and the just enough to reach the sublime, let's not mince words!
To talk about the cars... The very best, of course. Incredibly low mileage, exemplary restorations, rare models and, of course, exceptional details that immediately inspire confidence in those who approach them.
