FLAMBEAU
in rock crystal, the mounting in silver. The shaft of six pieces of cut rock crystal alternated with silver pieces. Silver bobèche (later) with repoussé and engraved scrolls. Silver base on four ball feet. Probably Augsburg, 17th century, reassembled in the late 19th century.
The base, stem and spigot are later, the spigot is hallmarked with the minerve mark and master goldsmith Georges Bachelet.
