Pas d'âne (donkey step) standing out from the body knot, resting on the shell with double openwork pontat with central decoration of character profiles in a medallion. Wooden spindle with iron filigree. Double-edged straight blade. Shuttle section on the fifth, then flattened. One-third of the blade is engraved with interlacing and a diamond-point rosette.
