SAINT PÈLERIN
A polychrome painted wood sculpture, he is dressed in a green knee-length tunic and is covered by his pilgrim coat. He is wearing a pair of boots. His face, with almond-shaped eyes, fine nose and pursed lips, is revealed beneath delicately wavy hair. His head is covered by a small square cap adorned with a finial. In his left hand, he is carrying an open book, the Gospels (?), while in his right hand, he is probably holding the (missing) drone. France, late 15th, early 16th century
