He does not think it advisable to reproduce the maps in Rhétorique. It would be sufficient to give the following description under the heading Variétés: "Fake 'Cartes d'après Nature' have been put into circulation. They bear the numbers 11 and 12. No. 11 contains neither text nor illustrations. No. 12: "Ceci n'est pas un Magritte-Magritte" and the word "Réponse" and nothing more. The discretion of the anonymous author(s) of these fake "cartes d'après nature" is just good enough to make them imitate themselves"...
