Rare first edition of this important treatise on numerology, which studies the discipline through several hundred authors over a period extending from Antiquity to the Renaissance.
Former coll. René Alleau (Mottling, heavy browning to last few leaves, some freckling, worm gallery to first few leaves, marginal tears, label taped to first flyleaf, clumsy 19th-century rebacking very faded.
