IBERT Jacques (1890-1962).
AUTOGRAPHIC MUSICAL MANUSCRIT, Concerto for flute and orchestra (1933)| 1 folio and 90 pages in-fol. mounted on tabs in a stapled volume in yellow cover (draft model).
Orchestral score of this famous flute concerto.
Jacques Ibert composed his Flute Concerto in 1932-1933, partly at his estate in Longuemare near Les Andelys, for the great French flautist Marcel MOYSE (1889-1984), who was the dedicatee and gave the premiere on February 25, 1934 at the Société des Concerts, conducted by Philippe Gaubert. It was published in 1934 by Alphonse Leduc (publisher's stamp). This Concerto quickly established itself in the repertoire of the great flautists as one of the great pages of their repertoire.
