GOUNOD Charles (1818-1893). MUSICAL MANUSCRIPT autograph signed "Ch. Gounod", Suite concertante en 4 parties pour piano-pédalier et orchestre, arrangement for piano-pédalier and piano (1886)| 1 title leaf and 32 folio pages, bound in a garnet half-basecloth volume. Manuscript of Gounod's transcription of his Suite concertante for piano-pedalboard and piano. On January 14, 1886, Gounod sold to Alphonse Leduc, for 7,000 francs, ownership of a Suite concertante with piano-pedalboard, the manuscript of which he was to give away on April 7, followed by a piano reduction of the orchestral part and a transcription for two pianos (eventually produced by Saint-Saëns).
