COURTELINE Georges (1858-1929). MANUSCRIT autograph signed "Georges Courteline", Un mec| 12 pages in-8 or in-12. An amusing tale, in which Courteline, learning that his childhood friend Lagrillade has become a pimp, recalls his college years, the project for his book Les Leçons de la Vie, and then humorously outlines the 4 types of "Incorrects": the Rabbit Pusher, the Gigolo, the Employed Gigolo and the Dude proper... The manuscript, in the young Courteline's handwriting, contains erasures and corrections. It has been cut out for printing, and reassembled. Former Daniel SICKLES collection (XIII, 5253).
