Important bronze statue with brown patina depicting Shakyamuni Buddha seated in padmasana on a double lotiform base resting on a substantial pedestal, hands in bhumiparsha mudra, wearing a fine monastic robe revealing the left shoulder, with one of the panels falling elegantly over his torso. Face with arched eyebrows and aquiline nose, eyes stretched out and inlaid with mother-of-pearl.
