Openwork picnic set (sage-jubako) in gold and silver hiramaki-e lacquer, consisting of a four-tiered jubako, a tray and two pewter sake (tokuri) bottles. The sage-jubako is entirely decorated with a clematis running on a trellis.
The four-sided jubako is decorated with clematis, carnations, morning glory and various flowers. The inside of the sage-jubako and jubako are lacquered red.
