Large calligraphy table with polychrome and gold lacquered decoration on a red background. The top rests on two recessed legs with cloud-shaped openwork and painted decoration of flower balls, the legs linked by an apron formed of angular scrolls and ruyi head motifs. The whole is decorated with a delicate meander pattern blending with floral scrolls, blossoming flowers and bats.
