Lectern with double desk in polychrome carved wood composed of a character with a pipe and a rose in a buttonhole, on a cylindrical wooden base carved with floral motifs, holding in his right hand a desk in red painted wood carved with scrolls and in his left hand a desk decorated with an eagle with outstretched wings clutching a stunned rooster, signed and dated "Perret, 1786".
